This John F. Kennedy Rocking Chair is identical in every respect to the chair used by President Kennedy in the Oval Office of the White House, on display at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts. President Kennedy found the design of the chair to be extremely helpful in alleviating his back discomfort, and over time he purchased multiple rockers to be used at his residences, in the Oval Office, and even aboard Air Force One.

This authentic JFK rocker comes with a small brass plaque featuring JFK's signature and the logo of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, to be affixed by the owner.

The secret of this chair's comfort lies in the perfectly planned steam-bent curve of the back post, which sweeps in to give firm support to the sitter's back and carries the weight down to the exact point at which the rocker contacts the floor. The John F. Kennedy Rocking Chair is set low for comfortable elbow support and has wide armrests for perfect balance. The seat and back offer firmness and natural spring through the use of tightly hand-woven Malaysian rattan. All wood parts are crafted of solid North American Red Oak, with a hand rubbed Village Oak stain and lacquer top coat. Suitable for indoor use only.
