Handmade in the USA, our beautiful bookends feature a pair of Democratic Donkeys enjoying a good read. Each piece is hand-cast of molten zinc, poured into bronze molds. After casting, the bookends are buffed smooth until free of any surface blemishes, and plated in coats of copper, nickel, and brass. A final polish and application of antiquing stain provides the finishing touch. The result is a wonderfully heavy, heirloom quality piece that will bring political flair to your home or office!
