The launch of Apollo 11 on July 16, 1969 has been merged with an excerpt from Kennedy's Rice University Address on the Nation's Space Effort: "We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard... Because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win." The caption reads, "Some speeches change the world. Some take you to an entirely new one."
